Turkish Grand Prix, Istanbul 2009

The anticipated Turkish Grand Prix is taking place this weekend in Istan
bul. It is held in the Istanbul Park Circuit and consists of 58 laps on the 7th of June. Felipe Massa will be looking for yet another win in Turkey, continuing his reign of consistent wins over the past 3 years, but may have trouble getting past Jenson Button in particular, who is in fantastic form, winning 5 of the last 6 races this season with Brawn Mercedes. The track has many exciting features as the track follows the lands natural
contours, which dips and falls in awkward
places. Turn 8 of the Istanbul Park Circuit is probably the most tricky turn t
he drivers will have to make as it is a quadruple apex corner, with a load of 5G's for 4 seconds at 6th gear. Many drivers spin out around this corner due to pushing the car too far in attempt to get the best time possible.

Be sure to tune into the live coverage this weekend, as it promisies to be yet another
enthrawling race to watch.
